The first picture shows my chocolate truffle cake that my mom and I made for my birthday. It’s pretty amazing that it puffed up like that because we didn’t add any flour. The second picture shows the Kindle Fire that my grandpa gave me for Christmas. The third picture shows my cousin Emily and Alex and my uncle and aunt Beth and Ángel when they were visiting my house. And the last picture shows my American Girl Doll bed that goes with the set for Julie the American Girl Doll but I’m going to use it for my look-alike doll even though it goes with Julie’s set.

This is a picture of Pixie and her friend Zoey. They are playing together in the multi-colored grass and I used four different shades of green to make. I used pastels and at the top in tiny lettering you can see how I used to do my name in cursive. There is a small blue tent with orange wooden stakes next to Pixie. At first I was going to color the whole background blue to make a sky, but I didn’t have enough time so I made the progress that I had made and turned it into a tent. I made it out of pastels. They are in a nice spot next to two trees and grass.

I drew this picture of Disney princesses’ cats. One is Rapunzel’s cat. She has a very long tail. One is Tiana’s cat. She has a necklace with a charm that looks like a lily pad on it. One is Elsa’s cat which has a snow flake coming out of its tail. One is Sophia the First’s cat. She is small and blue and has a purple amulet just like Sophia. The last one is Ariel’s cat. She has a crown that looks like a big splash of water with a tiny beach umbrella on top.

After school on Thursdays my dad teaches an after-school activity called comics club. We get to make comics, read comics, and learn about cool tools that people use to make comics. I made most of this comic in comics club and the rest I did at home. The first one is called Pikachu. The second one is called Eevee. And the last one is called Deerling. The others, I don’t know their names. If you press the words “after-school activity called comics club,” you can go to the comics club website.

I turned eight on December 29th and drew this picture on January third. The day before my birthday my mom and I made a chocolate truffle cake and it’s pretty amazing because we didn’t use any flour, but it turned out to be just like any other regular cake and it tasted super-good when we ate it the night of my birthday. I got to open lots of presents and lots of cards. I got a little purse that came with a dry erase board and dry erase markers, Legos, a kit to make bracelets, and a game called Labyrinth. We haven’t had a party yet but I’m already planning for the party in the spring. I’m thinking it will probably be a slumber party or a costume party and I’m thinking it will be at my house where we usually have it or at a skating rink called Skate Land–not ice skating, it’s roller skating.
